BLOOMING TIME AT CITY GREENHOUSE
The North Battleford City Greenhouses are ablaze with colour, reflecting a similar scene at commercial greenhouses throughout the Battlefords. Cool spring weather has kept the planting bug at bay for gardeners, but May isn’t far away and soon those with the yen to grow something will be prowling the hot houses looking for just the right posies to brighten up their yards, patios and decks. To get gardeners in the groove, North Battleford Communities in Bloom is sponsoring a series of workshops May 12. For details visit Local Culture under the Community tab.
