COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR BDCC
Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 9 recently made a $3,000 donation from the Legion’s Poppy Fund to Battlefords District Care Centre. The money was used to purchase two large dressers, two bedside tables and one large sheepskin. Accepting the donation are assistant facility manager Beverly Greenwood and recreation therapist Donna Seib (centre), from Leslie McFarlane, poppy chairperson, and Frank Ironstand, Legion first vice-president.
