Canada Day at Fort Battleford and the fireworks display

Battlefords Residents were treated to a day of activities to celebrate Canada’s birthday. Above, Fort Battleford had a full slate of activities, including a Victorian fashion show and tea, live music, wagon rides, artillery demonstrations and costumed interpreters. The historical buildings were also kept open, and Parka, the Parks Canada Beaver, made an appearance for Parks Canada Day. That night, tourists and locals filled up the hill behind the Don Ross Centre to watch the incredible, twenty-minute fireworks display.
