The final push is on to shave every last hair off of Derek Schmidt’s scalp.
Schmidt, of Bill and Don’s Men’s Wear has pledged to have his head shaved if $10,000 can be raised for the Credit Union CUPlex by August 31.
Jim LaFreniere of Bee-J’s Office Plus has been heavily involved in the drive. In a statement, LaFreniere said he expects all the last minute donations to come in this week. He also said Venice House would be donating all their Pizza By the Slice sales from Thursday, August 26 to the cause.
Donations are being accepted at Bee-J’s Office Plus and donors will receive a tax deductible receipt.
