Accident in front of Don Ross Center

Several people were taken to hospital with minor injuries after a two-vehicle collision Sunday night on Highway 4 in front of Don Ross Center.

Both the fire and police say the incident happened just before 8 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 4 and South Railway Avenue. Two vehicles collided, with a total of five people taken to Battlefords Union Hospital with undetermined but minor injuries.

According to the RCMP, traffic was diverted at the location for about an hour while the RCMP, Fire and Ambulance worked to clear the highway. The RCMP continue to investigate.
