Silent auction supports museum

The Maidstone Museumís annual silent auction was held in conjunction with the trade fair on the weekend of April 14 and 15. Members wish to thank everyone who helped make this event a financial success.

Support of those who donated itmes and those who bid on them is also appreciated.

A roast beef supper was hosted by museum members for all the venders who had booths at the trade fair. This took place after 7 p.m. April 14 when the event closed for the evening.

The winner of the door prize at the silent auction table was Jim Metherall. Winning raffle prizes were Reid Warkentin, Verna Milner, Wallace Gregson and Andrea Danychuk.

The event is the museumís biggest fundraiser of the year.
