MVA with injuries on southbound bridge


One person was sent to hospital following a collision on the southbound Battlefords Bridge Tuesday.

According to North Battleford Fire and Emergency Services, the collision happened around 3:48 pm on Tuesday in the middle of the southbound bridge. The accident involved an SUV and a truck.

One rescue unit and two firefighters responded to the scene, as did RCMP, WPD Ambulance and North Battleford Bylaw Enforcement.

The driver of the SUV was tended to by WPD Ambulance and taken to Battlefords Union Hospital.
