An investigation is continuing into an armed robbery at a business in Shellbrook.

Shellbrook detachment responded to the complaint on Sunday, Jan. 29 around 6:52 pm. According to police, male had entered the business and demanded cash while holding a machete. He made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.   

Detachment members responded immediately along with those from neighbouring detachments, and patrols were made of the area. However, the suspect has not located.

Police say the male is described as "tall" and wore "Crooks and Castles" clothing, a dark jacket with a light-coloured hoodie, grey ski pants, and a black scarf over his face.
