Battlefords RCMP are reporting a seizure of a quantity of drugs following a traffic stop of a vehicle on the weekend.
At around 9:15 pm on April 8, Battlefords RCMP conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1200 block of 103rd St. in the city.
According to police a 28 year old male was the passenger in the vehicle and was arrested on outstanding criminal code warrants. A search of the vehicle led to the location and seizure of a quantity of marijuana, cocaine and other evidence related to drug trafficking.
The other passenger was a 27 year old female; she was also arrested.
Further information on charges will be released once the investigation is complete.
