Gunshots in North Battleford

Battlefords RCMP detachment responded to over 30 calls between Sunday, Feb. 12 at 6 am and Monday Feb. 13 at 6 am. They include the following: Sunday, February 12 8:48 am - A 15 year old male arrested and charged with possession of stolen property.

Battlefords RCMP detachment responded to over 30 calls between Sunday, Feb. 12 at 6 am and Monday Feb. 13 at 6 am. They include the following:   

Sunday, February 12

8:48 am - A 15 year old male arrested and charged with possession of stolen property. He was located on Millar Road near North Battleford after abandoning a stolen Jeep Grand Cherokee.  The vehicle had been reported stolen that day from Winder Crescent in North Battleford.  

10:21 am - Break and enter to a storage compound on the 3000 block of 99th Street in North Battleford.  Fence found cut and items removed include tires.

12:57 pm - Dallas Tootoosis, 29, was reported missing.  He was last seen on the morning of Friday, Feb. 10 on the 900 block of 105th Street in North Battleford.  Dallas is described as being about 6' tall, medium build with brown eyes, and medium length black hair and has a mustache.  No clothing descriptors were known at the time of the complaint.  Police are still awaiting a recent photograph of the subject. 

1:05 pm - Break and enter to a residence on the 400 block of 33rd Street in Battleford, believed to have occurred some time in the later morning of February 11.

10:19 pm - Charges are pending against an adult male of assault after a reported disturbance at a residence on St Laurent Drive.  No injuries reported.  Suspect remains at large at this time.

11:00 pm - Report of gunshots on the 1200 block of 107th Street in North Battleford.  Police have confirmed a home was struck by at least two rounds.  The residence was found to be empty when police attended.  Police remain on scene at this time, pending the completion of a search warrant for additional evidence.
