Registered Holistic Nutritionist one hundred per cent raw and transitional lifestyle coach, Kendalini yoga creator and raw food chef Chris Kendall will be in North Battleford Sept. 30 as the guest chef for a raw food dinner hosted at Blend.

Earlier that day he will be hosted by John Paul II Collegiate as a guest lecturer.

2016 has been a busy year for Kendall including Raw Food Skate Camp in January in Costa Rica, Raw Food ‘n’ Yoga Surf Adventure in March in Costa Rica, head chef and speaker at the first ever raw vegan cruise in Croatia in June, yoga teacher and food demo chef at the Sweden Raw Food Festival and Denmark Fresh Food Festival in July, speaker, yoga teacher and food demo chef at the UK Fruit Fest and at the Woodstock Fruit Festival this August in New York City.

Back in Saskatchewan, Kendall’s plans include a raw food and yoga workshop in Saskatoon with Joanne Yanke on Oct. 15.

Kendall’s own nutritional journey is an interesting tale, influenced by health problems, reading a few key books and meeting Dr. Douglas Graham, a raw foodist. His user-friendly website, www.therawadvantage.com, is a welcoming source of information and instructional videos to expand anyone’s food preparation repertoire.

When not elsewhere in the world, Kendall’s home base is Saskatoon, but he makes trips to North Battleford often to visit his grandmother who lives in the city.

Following his passions, Kendall shares his enthusiasm by facilitating retreats, lecturing at food festivals, providing nutrition consultation services and publishing ebooks. He has a new free raw recipes app. He also persues his budding vision, the TRA Dream, a non-profit charity focused on creating donation based holistic healing, yoga, permaculture and educational retreat centers around the world.

Ticket sales for the raw food dinner at Blend will serve as the fundraiser to make it all happen. Call or text 306-481-5149 for ticket.
