BUZIAK: Polly Barbara Buziak (nee Salyn) August 23, 1925 - February 7, 2012 The family of Polly Buziak are saddened to announce her death occurred on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Luther Special Care Home. Polly was born at home on the farm near Alticane SK on August 23, 1925. She married Tony Buziak in October of 1947. They lived in Oshawa, Ontario for many years where Tony worked for General Motors and Polly worked for Chrysler and for Sears. In 1972 they retired and moved to Martensville, SK. After Tony's death in 2003, Polly moved to Villa Royal in Saskatoon, and later to Lutheran Care Home. Polly was predeceased by her husband Tony of 56 years, her parents Fred and Mary Salyn, brothers Bill and John Salyn, and sister Nellie Salyn Buziak. Polly is survived by her sister Anne Agarand (Emile), nephew Barry Agarand (Leah), nieces Heather Chambers (Gary) and Carrie Elliott (Don), as well as 2 great nephews and 4 great nieces, and 3 great great nieces. The Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 17, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. " at Westwood Funeral Chapel in Saskatoon" Interment will follow at North Battleford City Cemetery (off highway 40) at approximately 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
