27th annual Big Buck Night awards presented

The 27th annual Big Buck Night was held Dec. 7 in the Sonningdale Hall. This year there were over 250 in attendance and 38 heads were scored by Jim Wiebe, Milo Hanson and Jim.

The 27th annual Big Buck Night was held Dec. 7 in the Sonningdale Hall. This year there were over 250 in attendance and 38 heads were scored by Jim Wiebe, Milo Hanson and Jim.

Under the typical whitetail deer category, first and second place for biggest buck went to Kori Kallis of Dalmeny with a score of 174 4/8 and Ken Andreas of Biggar with a score of 166 1/8, respectively.

Typical whitetail deer for a youth, 16 and under), first place went to Austin Custer of Baljennie with a score of 154 2/8 and second place to Riley Tallis of Langham with a score of 141 2/8.

First place for a typical whitetail deer bagged by "Good Old Boys," 55 and over, went to Ron Danielson of Sonningdale with a score of 121 6/8.

In ladies' typical whitetail deer, first place went to Sandi Kushner of Biggar with a score of 158 7/8 and second place to Diane Barrington of Saskatoon with a score of 148 2/8.

Under the non-typical whitetail deer category, first and second place for biggest buck went to Cody Zyznomirski of Mayfair with a score of 199 7/8 and Kurtis Domak of Sonningdale with a score of 166 1/8, respectively.

There were no entries for youth non-typical whitetail deer.

Kevin O'Driscoll won first place for non-typical whitetail deer, Good Old Boy, with a score of 172 0/8.

Shirley Meechance of Cando was awarded first place in ladies' non-typical whitetail deer with a score of 173 1/8.
