Fine fall weather letting farmers complete jobs in the fields

We can only hope the fine weather we have been experiencing the last few days will extend for a while.

We can only hope the fine weather we have been experiencing the last few days will extend for a while. I don't know what the proper term is for this beautiful weather at this time of year; I just know that we are no longer supposed to call it Indian summer.

Farmers are able to get some more field jobs done, something that has not happened for a few years.

Keith and Eileen Evans returned Oct. 16 from a trip west which took them on a visit to all of their family. Karen, Kathy and Joanne and their husbands and families are all living in B.C. and John and his wife and family are living in Calgary, Alta. They all gathered at the home of Karen and Brian Sjoberg and family at Vernon, B.C., for a family Thanksgiving. Keith and Eileen were blessed with good weather for their trip.
