New year 2013 has arrived and we hope it is a good one in every way. Jean Stewart spent Christmas Eve with the Cameron Stewart family and Christmas Day with the Stoughton family. It was so good to see everyone and all the great-grandchildren.

Our deepest sympathy to the Harris family on the passing of Birdie Harris. Birdie was at the time a resident in these apartments. We will always remember her cheerful way and avid card playing.

Joanne Protz and children of Edmonton, stopped in to say hello on their way to Saskatoon for her mother Joyce Scoular's 85th birthday. Duncan, Hazel and I motored to Saskatoon Dec. 29 to join in the birthday celebrations. We were so glad to see many of the relatives that we hadn't seen in a long time.

I'm leaving next Tuesday for a month's holiday in Arizona. I will be on the news run when I get back. Happy new year, everyone.
