The Wilkie in motiongroup is hosting an information/registration night Sept. 6 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Saskcan Community Centre Dance Hall.
The evening, which will include food and refreshments, is an opportunity for everyone in Wilkie and area to find out what is offered for sports, service clubs, social groups, churches and many other activities for all ages.
The community is not that large, but there is a wide variety of activities for people to enjoy. The various groups will be there to show what they have to offer with information about what they do in the community. There will also be registration for activities.
Earlier in the summer, information was delivered to approximately 45 groups and organizations. Please contact the Town of Wilkie office and let the recreation department know if your group can be there. You can drop in at the office or call 306-843-2692 for more information.
