MAIDSTONE – Cribbage was played on Monday, Jan. 14 with high score going to a tie between Bev Stewart and Jean Hartman. Low went to Lois Myer. Lunch was provided by Bev Stewart. Bingo was played Wednesday, Jan.

MAIDSTONE – Cribbage was played on Monday, Jan. 14 with high score going to a tie between Bev Stewart and Jean Hartman. Low went to Lois Myer. Lunch was provided by Bev Stewart.

Bingo was played Wednesday, Jan. 16 with Margaret MacEachern and Bev Stewart doing the calling. Loonie pot was won by Bev. Lunch was provided by Margaret.

Cribbage was cancelled Jan. 21.

Bingo was played Jan. 23 with Margaret MacEachern and Bev Stewart doing the calling. Loonie pot was won by Denise Newton. Lunch was provided by Noelle Coulthard.

Cribbage was played Monday, Jan. 28 with a perfect score in five hands by Dorothy Schwartz, who supplied lunch. Low went to Bev Stewart.

Bingo was played Jan. 30 with Margaret MacEachern doing the calling. Loonie pot went to Irene Kerr, who supplied lunch. Next meeting will be Wednesday, Feb. 13 following bingo at 2:45 p.m.

The January-February-March birthday potluck luncheon will be held at noon Feb. 20 followed by bingo.

Cribbage and bingo were cancelled Feb. 4 and 6 due to very cold weather. 

Cribbage was played Feb. 11 with high score going to Bev Stewart, who supplied lunch. Low went to Lois Myers.

Bingo was played Wednesday, Feb. 13 with Margaret MacEachern and Bev Stewart doing the calling. Lunch was provided by Cheryl McCaskill. The monthly meeting followed. Various reports were made. Margaret MacEachern chaired the meeting. 

The movie for February has been cancelled and the next one will be on the third Friday in March, the 15th.

Lenten Lunch starts at the United Church on March 20 and runs at noon for six weeks.

World Day of Prayer will be held March 1 at the Anglican Church, looked after by the Lutheran congregation. Next meeting will be March 20 at 3:45 p.m. following bingo.

The January-February-March potluck luncheon was held at noon Feb. 20 with 11 people in attendance. It was a chili on a bun luncheon supplied by some of the members. The       others who attended game donations for Telemiracle and raised $100. Profit from cards and bingo for the month of February will be added to this special fundraiser event.

Margaret MacEachern gave the blessing prior to the lunch.

Bingo followed with Margaret MacEachern and Bev Stewart doing the calling. Lunch leftovers from noon followed.

Real nice change in the weather after two weeks of -40º C and below.
