Denise Newton was to Prince Albert on the weekend to visit her son Kevin. While there she attended grandson Corvan’s hockey games. His team played five games and they won all of them.

Denise Newton was to Prince Albert on the weekend to visit her son Kevin. While there she attended grandson Corvan’s hockey games. His team played five games and they won all of them. When Corvan wasn’t playing, she went to Saskatoon to watch Shea play hockey. They won their games also. A very busy weekend.

Our sympathy to the Schempp family on their mother Jeannine Schempp passing. Jeannine passed away Sunday.

Missed last week was sympathy to Jean Hartman on the loss of her sister Eva Hargreave.

Keith and Dawn Hartman were here to visit their mum Jean Hartman. Dawn had made Jean an album of her 90th birthday. It is really a treasure.

Bev Stewart has her niece Debbie Braaten of High River, Alta., visiting her for a few weeks.

I got word yesterday of Ma Thick’s passing. Ma ran a cafe in Maidstone for many years. She was in a home at Stony Plain and was a good age of 97. Sympathy to her family.
