The Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life is more than just a fundraiser. It is an opportunity to get together with family and friends and celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to cancer and fight back in the hope of finding a cure for this terrible disease.

There have been family and friends in the last year who have had accidents on ladders and stools (Val), so here are a few safety tips. Use the right ladder for the job. Set your ladder up at an angle ratio of one foot horizontal from the wall for every four feet the ladder extends vertically. Extend your ladder three feet past the upper landing to which it provides access. Securely tie off your ladder at the top and at the bottom. For more ladder safety tips visit www.worksafebc.com.

Welcome, Cindy.

Maxine says, " There's nothing like the feeling of swooshin' downhill on a toboggan! Although sticking your whole face in ice water comes close." Enjoy the cold.
