Ashton Bernier and Steven Munn are playing with the Maymont Rustlers of the Saskatchewan Prairie Hockey League.

The Maymont Settlers Senior Hockey team added a new player to the roster for three of their regular scheduled games. Steven Munn, son of Rod and Joyce Munn, former residents and store owners, began playing hockey here as a young boy and eventually advanced and played AAA with North Battleford, then junior hockey at Merritt, B.C. Steven's next move was to Troy, New York on a four-year university scholarship. He then played with several teams on the East Coast, then over in England and Japan. Steven is now retired from hockey and lives in Augusta, Georgia, with his wife and two children. They were all here for the holiday season.

Sarah Beaudoin would like me to pass on this message. She would like to thank all her many friends from far and near for coming to make her 95th birthday such a success. Thanks for the flowers and gift she received and thanks, Carol Deagnon, for decorating the seniors' centre so nice. She said it will be a day she'll never forget and thanks to her boys and Brenda for planning this event. Thanks again and she said she hopes she has a few more years.
