Dr. Mini Khurana promises a delightful Indian-inspired evening on Saturday.

The event, taking place at the Dekker Centre, is called Dances of India 2018.

"These are classically trained internationally acclaimed award winning Indian dancers who are going to perform a mesmerizing event on that day," Khurana said.

Khurana said the dances will come from a number of different regions in India the MC will explain what dances mean for audience members to gain understanding.

Khurana said emotion is vital to the dances.

"You can see the expression on dancers' faces," Khurana said.

Midway through the performance will be a half hour for break for food, and items such as clothing and jewellery will feature in the atrium of the Dekker Centre.

Dances of India starts at 5:30. 

Tickets are $45 for adults, $35 for seniors and students, and $25 for children under 18. TIckets for those who will be considered sponsors are $80. Money raised will go to charity.
