Living Sky students celebrating back to school

Students are back to school throughout Living Sky School Division and the first weeks are featuring a number of welcome back celebrations. The first day back, Sept. 2, was recognized across Saskatchewan as Provincial Student's Day.

Students are back to school throughout Living Sky School Division and the first weeks are featuring a number of welcome back celebrations.

The first day back, Sept. 2, was recognized across Saskatchewan as Provincial Student's Day.

North Battleford Comprehensive held their registration day Tuesday for students in Grades 8 to 12 with the Student Representative Council on hand to welcome and provide guided tours to all new students. Their official Welcome Day is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 10 at the Battlefords Provincial Park.

Bready Elementary School in North Battleford hosted a welcome back assembly, highlighting their school's goals and having each student reflect on their personal goals for the year. Friday, Sept. 5, all parents are invited to join Bready's school-wide walk, where students will display their personal goals.

Connaught Community School will be having a Welcome Back Family Breakfast Friday, Sept. 5.

Medstead Central School will also be hosting a pancake breakfast Friday morning.

Heritage Christian School in Battleford will be celebrating school start up with an evening Welcome Back Barbecue Thursday, Sept. 11 for all students and families.

Cando Community School will be hosting their Welcome Back Pancake Breakfast Monday, Sept. 8 for all students and parents.
