Solitaires/Solidaires - Fransaskois art at Chapel Gallery

Solitaires/Solidaires, an exhibition of work by four Fransaskois artists, is touring the province, presented by Conseil culturel fransaskois.

At the Chapel Gallery in the Windows Salon until March 4, the exhibition unites for the first  time Anne Brochu Lambert, Liza Gareau Tosh, Jean-Sébastien Gauthier and Michèle Mackasey, showing a total of 15 works.

Solitaires/Solidaires is a title that seeks to explain the realithy of the Fransaskois artist creating in a comtemporary prairie setting. The Conseil Culturel Fransaskois, established in 1974, develops programming, policies, and activities that will allow the Fransaskois community to achieve its cultural and creative potential thereby increasing its economic viability. The organization helps facilitate the overall cultural and artistic development of French artists and cultural workers.
