It’s that time of year again! SaskExpress is looking for talented singers and dancers to join their 2019 Summer Cast. The SaskExpress Summer Tour gives Saskatchewan performers the opportunity to experience the life of a professional. Under the direction of CEO and Artistic Director, Danny Balkwill, performers will learn a full 90-minute show and tour it around the province, igniting the talents of Saskatchewan’s young performers.

For nearly 40 years, SaskExpress has provided training and opportunities to performers from all parts of the province, from the smallest communities to major centers. Many SaskExpress performers have gone on to professional careers in entertainment around the world, including Broadway, cruise ships, touring shows and stage productions, as well as appearances in film, television, and recordings. SaskExpress is proud to deliver first-class family entertainment, all while developing Saskatchewan’s most promising performers,

To audition, performers must be at least 15 years of age and be free to travel extensively throughout the summer. Successful performers will be offered a scholarship and a contract that runs from March to early September.

Auditions are planned for:

Regina, Feb. 9, 10 at SaskExpress (2272 Pasqua Street), noon to 5 p.m.

Saskatoon, Feb. 16 at SaskExpress Studio - Saskatoon (205A Pacific Avenue) noon to 3 p.m.

Prince Albert, Feb. 17 at the Prince Albert Arts Centre (1010 Central Avenue), 1 p.m.-4:30 p.m.

Yorkton, Feb. 23 at Yorkton Regional High School (150 Gladstone Avenue N) 2-6 p.m.

To apply, please visit SaskExpress.com to fill out an Audition Application form. All completed forms must be submitted to info@saskexpress.com

before Wednesday, Feb. 6 in order to schedule an audition time.

If you can’t make it to an audition, SaskExpress will gladly accept a video submission of your audition at anytime before Sunday, Feb. 10. Videos can be sent along with your completed Audition Application form to info@saskexpress.com.
