The tenors are coming!

See You at the Theatre
drama mask

Eighteen years later and the tenors are back in a sequel called Ken Ludwig’s The Three Tenors taking place Nov. 20 to 24 with two show only and three dinner theatre evenings at the Western Development Museum.

It will feature the same place, a different room and some of the same players in a fun evening of theatre. It’s farce at its best, with Jim Walls and John Butler returning to the same roles they played in 2000. They are joined by Jeff Arndt, Rick Kostiuk, Joanne Tatchell, Jeanna Walker and Rebekka Landon, assisted by a number of people on set, sound, costumes, hair, makeup and props.

Set in Paris in the 1930s, one hotel suite, four tenors, two wives, three girlfriends and a soccer stadium filler with screaming fans — what could possibly go wrong?

Tickets are still available and you really don’t want to miss the crazy antics of the wonderful members of the Battlefords Community Players cast.

Watch for other plans BCP has, including their annual Christmas potluck and a family orientated Christmas evening.

The new year begins with rehearsal for our February production of The Tin Woman being directed by Darren Olso and auditions for our spring production of True West being directed by Lloyd Deshaye. Darren is still looking for actors to fill a couple of very important, but smaller, roles so contact him by text at 240-8900 if you want to know more. Open auditions will be held early in January for True West. Watch bcpdrama.com, follow us of Facebook or watch for this column for more information.

Thanks so much for your support during this past year and we look forward to seeing you at the theatre.
