For the first time in almost six years, Steve Wilkinson is performing dates with Amanda and Tyler Wilkinson as the original trio.

As part of an eight-date tour with stops in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta, the Wilkinsons are stopping at the Dekker Centre.

The Wilkinsons gained fame in the late nineties and early two thousands with a string of well-known tracks. Tyler and Amanda branched off as Tyler pursued rock music and Amanda a solo career. In 2012, Amanda and Tyler formed the Small Town Pistols.

Set lists for the upcoming tour will feature songs spanning the careers of the Wilkinsons, along with new music.

The Wilkinsons won nine Canadian Country Music awards, along with earning two Grammy nominations and a Juno Award.

Look for an interview with Steve and Tyler (not Steven Tyler) Wilkinson in Tuesday's News-Optimist.

Tickets are $45, and can be bought online or at the Dekker Centre box office.
