The 49th Annual Back to Batoche Days will be held Thursday, July 18 to Sunday, July 21.

This Friday, July 19th, the official Opening Ceremonies will begin at 10:00 am with a procession involving
Elders, Métis Nation Governing Council members, and federal and provincial dignitaries.

The opening ceremonies will be used as a platform to make a series of important announcements
including:
• First-time Home Buyers Program for Métis citizens
• Home Renovation program for Métis citizens
• Post-Secondary Education
• MOU signing on Île-à-la-Crosse Boarding School
• MOU signing with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police

The annual Back to Batoche Days Festival is a four-day gathering that celebrates Métis culture and
history. It includes traditional activities, entertainment and sporting events. Métis Nation-Saskatchewan is
proud to host this annual celebration at the Batoche grounds.
