17 year old charged for NB robbery

The Battlefords RCMP investigation has resulted in charges against a 17-year-old male young offender for the robbery on Aug. 12 at a business on the 1700 block of 100th Street in North Battleford.

The Battlefords RCMP investigation has resulted in charges against a 17-year-old male young offender for the robbery on Aug. 12 at a business on the 1700 block of 100th Street in North Battleford. The youth is scheduled to make their first appearance in North Battleford Provincial Court on Thursday, Nov. 12.

According to the original release on the robbery, on Aug. 12 at approximately 3:20 a.m., a lone male entered a business on the 1700 block of 100th street and demanded cash. The male threatened staff and fled the location with a small amount of cash. The male was thought to be approximately 30 years old, 5'9" to 6"0 tall, heavy set, wearing a black bunny hug with grey sweat pants and light brown work boots.
