Two people were sent to hospital New Year’s Day after a collision at Highway 4 South and Territorial Drive near the Don Ross Centre.
North Battleford Fire Department reports they responded to the collision with one unit and three personnel. A car and an SUV were involved in the collision. The fire department says the Jaws of Life and cutters were used to extricate the passengers of the car.
Both occupants were transported to Battlefords Union Hospital with unknown injuries. The SUV driver was not injured.
Both vehicles were towed with the car sustaining major damage. Debris and fluids were cleaned up at the scene.
