On Dec. 27 at 2 p.m., Battlefords RCMP responded to a complaint at a business located on the 100 block of 22nd Street in Battleford where an employee was assaulted by a client.
The situation was over prior to RCMP arriving on scene and no one was seriously injured. Investigation has led to the arrest and charges of a 44-year-old woman and a 69-year-old man.
Deanne Raquel Caron, 44, is charged with uttering threats, assault, mischief to property and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.
Lyle Ernest Caron, 69, is charged with mischief to property and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.
Both have been released on court conditions and will be making appearances again in the new year to have this matter spoken to.
