Big River RCMP locate wanted man

He will appear in court in Prince Albert on June 11, 2021.

PREVIOUS STORY: Big River RCMP requests the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted in relation to a number of incidents that occurred in the Big River area since July 2020.

 

As a result of multiple investigations, Utin Whitefish, 27, from Big River First Nation is charged with numerous offences including assault, theft under $5,000, failing to attend court, possession of an unauthorized firearm, possession of a firearm obtained by crime, possession of a firearm while prohibited, uttering threats, pointing a firearm, robbery with weapon, and assault with a weapon.  

Multiple warrants have been issued for Whitefish and police have been unable to locate and arrest him. He may be on Big River First Nation, but that hasn't been confirmed.

Whitefish is described as approximately 5-foot-8 and weighs 220 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, and has facial tattoos.

If you see Whitefish, do not approach him. Contact police immediately.
