Two individuals have been arrested following a search of a Battleford residence that turned up drugs.

Two individuals have been arrested following a search of a Battleford residence that turned up drugs.

Tuesday morning, North Battleford Provincial and Municipal GIS units, assisted by North Battleford Municipal RCMP and Police Dog Service unit, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant on a residencein Battleford on the300 block of33rd Street.

A large quantity of marijuana, cash and further evidence of drug trafficking was seized by police.

Two people have been charged, so far. Justin Jerard Fransoo, 25, ofBattleford, is charged with possessionof a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime .

Celeste Juness Spyglass, 29, of North Battleford is also charged with possessionof a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime.

Court dates for both are set for Feb. 9 at 10:30 a.m. in North Battleford provincial court.

Additional charges are pending. Police say the investigation continues.
