The Estevan RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing person.
On Sept. 10, the RCMP received a report of a missing 48-year-old man, Darcy Vatamaniuck, from Bienfait.
Family members last spoke with him over the phone Aug. 22. He has not been heard from since.
Vatamaniuck is described as being approximately 5’5” tall, weighs about 280 pounds, and is bald with green eyes.
He drives a beige, four-door 2011 Jeep Wrangler with several after-market accessories, including a snorkel kit, bush bar with a winch, oversized tires, and an oversized frame lifted, with a Saskatchewan licence plate 701 LJS.
Vatamaniuck is known to be seen with a large-sized three-year-old German shepherd, with black and tan fur, who goes by the name of Lucy.
The RCMP is seeking the public's assistance in locating Vatamaniuck. If you see him or know of his whereabouts, please contact the Estevan RCMP at 306-637-4400 or Saskatchewan RCMP at 306-310-7267 (RCMP).

Jessica Cantos, a media relations spokesperson for the RCMP, said they can't confirm whether his disappearance is believed to be foul play.
Since the RCMP received the missing person report last week, officers have been speaking with family members and looking through his property to trace his steps, and determine where he was headed or where he was previously.
"Before we issue a media release, we like to make sure that we've cleared all of our steps in order to be able to help with the search."
Searches have occurred in the Bienfait area since he vanished.
