HUMBOLDT — Four people were transported to hospital by STARS and Humboldt Ambulance after a two-vehicle collision Highway 5 approximately 11 kilometres west of Humboldt.

Two male adult drivers remain in hospital in Saskatoon with serious injuries. One male adult remains in Saskatoon Hospital with injuries and one male youth has been released.

Humboldt RCMP were dispatched to the scene on June 3 at around 11:45 a.m. Initial information received by the RCMP indicated a head-on collision occurred and there were victims trapped in the wreckage.

When police arrived, three people were out of their vehicle and one remained trapped in the other vehicle. Humboldt EMS and Humboldt Fire Department were on scene and extracted one male adult driver.

RCMP said they closed the highway due to obstructed debris and to allow F Division Collision Reconstructionists investigate the collision.
