Battlefords RCMP are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the vehicle or the occupants of the vehicle seen fleeing the site of two firearms discharges Sunday morning.

Oct. 13 at 5:15 a.m. Battlefords RCMP responded to a complaint of a firearm being discharged in the Riverview area of North Battleford.  A residence was located on the 700 block of 102nd Street that was confirmed to be the scene of the shooting.

Residents at this location were not injured as a result of this incident, however they were uncooperative with police investigation.

Shortly afterward, a second complaint of a firearm being discharged was received. This was on the 1800 block of 99th Street, North Battleford. There was no one home at this residence.

Both investigations are continuing and neither incident has been deemed a random act at this time.

Investigation has revealed that a large SUV, grey in colour was observed fleeing each of these locations.

The safety of the public in general is paramount in locating information that will further these investigations and lead to charges against the persons involved in these criminal activities.
