A Hafford man pleaded guilty on Nov. 24 in Saskatoon Provincial Court to accessing and possessing child porn.

Kelly Beleznay, 55, was charged in June after Saskatoon Police launched an investigation in February 2020. Police say they had received “many complaints” about someone accessing child porn on the Internet. The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) and the Blaine Lake RCMP searched Beleznay’s Hafford home on June 2. They found child porn and seized a laptop and USB storage devices for further forensic analysis.

In 2014 Beleznay was sentenced to three years in prison for possessing child porn and making it available on the Internet through a file-sharing program.

For the 2020 charges, Beleznay will be sentenced in Saskatoon Provincial Court on Jan. 19, 2021.
