Heavy equipment stolen in Wilkie area

Wilkie RCMP report that several pieces of heavy equipment have been stolen from a rural site. Sometime overnight on Thursday, Dec. 13, suspects broke into a storage unit on a rural property north of Wilkie, says an RCMP news release issued Monday.

Sometime overnight on Thursday, Dec. 13, suspects broke into a storage unit on a rural property north of Wilkie, says an RCMP news release issued Monday. 

A black car hauler trailer with Alberta plate 5AY 209 was stolen. The trailer can be identified by an SWS sticker on the fender.

Suspects also took an orange 2013 Kubota MX-5100 tractor with a 60" Blue Diamond rock bucket Bobcat attachment.

RCMP report a 2015 John Deere zero turn lawn mower, a Huskavarna chain saw and leaf blower were also taken.
