Hit and run vehicle being sought, may have Alberta plates

The Saskatoon Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle believed to have been involved in a fatal collision last week. 

Police are seeking a blue, 2007 Jeep Compass. The vehicle may have an Alberta licence plate on it and is likely to have visible front-end damage. The back window may be missing and covered with plastic.

Anyone with any information related to this vehicle is asked to contact the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

On May 10, at 9:15 p.m. the Saskatoon Police Service received a call about a hit and run accident where someone had been injured. Patrol attended to the 3200 block of 33rd Street where they located a female who had severe life threatening injuries.

Medavie Health Services and the Saskatoon Fire Department attended to the scene and performed life saving measures but the female succumbed to her injuries.
