Saskatchewan RCMP say a fatal fire has occurred in Cochin.
On Sunday, July 14, at approximately 4 a.m., Battlefords RCMP were dispatched to a structure fire in the community of Cochin.
Police investigation to date has determined that a small cabin had caught fire with one occupant trapped inside. The identity of the occupant is not known, say RCMP.
The fire is not suspicious, say RCMP.
Battlefords RCMP along with the Coroners Office are working to identify the person in order to conduct next of kin notifications.
