Tuesday night, Loon Lake RCMP announced they were actively involved in a search for a missing youth on Makwa Lake. The public was asked if they were boating on the lake to avoid the south east area.
Jessica Cantos with Saskatchewan RCMP Relations said Thursday there was still nothing new to update since the initial advisory was released.
"All our resources in the detachment area remain committed to conducting search efforts for the missing youth."
Tuesday, RCMP thanked the public for the numerous offers to assist with the search the previous evening and ask anyone wanting to help in the morning to first check in with RCMP at the Makwa launch at the south end of the lake.
