RCMP have issued sketches of men they are searching for after a woman was injured by a gunshot.
In the early morning of Sunday, June 30, Meadow Lake RCMP responded to a complaint of an adult female shot in the arm in an apartment building in Meadow Lake.
The victim had been lying in her bedroom when she was struck by a bullet that was discharged from a different room within the same apartment. It is reported that this was during an argument between two unknown males. The males fled the apartment shortly after the discharge.
The males had been occasionally staying with the victim and her boyfriend. The names of the two males are not known to the victim as it is believed they had been using another name.
Meadow Lake RCMP is requesting assistance in identifying the subjects who are believed to be from the Edmonton area:
Description of Subject 1
Approximately 40-years-old
Approximately 5'6" to 5’9” in height
Thin build
A receding hairline with short 4-5 inch braids
Spoke with an accent
Last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and black jogging pants
Description of Subject 2
Wears glasses
Short hair
Approximately 6 ft. tall
Heavier build
Last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and grey joggers
