On Jan 5, family members who had been searching locations around Rose Valley for a missing man located him deceased in a field in the Municipality of Bjorkdale.
The death of 32-year-old Trevor Ashton Moose from Yellow Quill First Nation is now under investigation by the RCMP and the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.
Rose Valley RCMP had requested the public’s assistance Jan. 4 in locating Moose, who had not been in contact with his family since Dec. 26, 2020. He was last seen on the Yellow Quill First Nation near the village on foot. He was heading to a local residence.
The RCMP has extended its deepest sympathy to the family.
