Nyholt Hill scene of accident, use caution

UPDATE; 9;20 a.m. - Battlefords RCMP remain at the scene of a two vehicle collision 15 miles west of Battleford on Hwy 29. WPD Ambulance have transported one male and one female to Battlefords Union Hospital with non life threatening injuries.

UPDATE; 9;20 a.m. - Battlefords RCMP remain at the scene of a two vehicle collision 15 miles west of Battleford on Hwy 29. WPD Ambulance have transported one male and one female to Battlefords Union Hospital with non life threatening injuries. Each of these persons were the driver and lone occupant of their respective vehicles. Tow companies are on scene removing the involved vehicles from the location and the highway should be back in full use soon.
 
RCMP would like to thank those members of the public who stopped to render assistance to those involved in this collision.

BACKGROUND: 7:30 a.m. - Battlefords RCMP have responded to a call on Hwy 29 of a two-vehicle collision.  Battleford Fire and WPD Ambulance are also en route to the location, which is at the base of Nyholt Hill, 15km west of Battleford on the way to Wilkie. 

RCMP are advising motorists to be careful travelling this portion of highway as emergency services will be in the area assisting persons involved in the collision.

RCMP say once more details are available a further media release will be forthcoming.
