P.A. Police arrest man in triple homicide

Prince Albert Police arrested a man this afternoon in connection to a triple homicide. Two adults, both 56, and a seven-year-old boy were found murdered in a home in the 300 block of MacArthur Drive on March 29.

Prince Albert Police arrested a man this afternoon in connection to a triple homicide.

Two adults, both 56, and a seven-year-old boy were found murdered in a home in the 300 block of MacArthur Drive on March 29. A five-year-old girl was seriously injured but alive. She was taken to Saskatoon hospital and then airlifted to an Edmonton hospital in critical condition. Her condition has been upgraded to stable, Prince Albert Police Chief Jon Bergen said March 31.

Bergen said once the man is charged they will provide more details about the individual.

The victims were identified as Dennis Carrier and Sandra Henry, both 56, and a child Bentley, 7. The five-year-old girl was identified as Kendra. He said the suspect was known to the family but wouldn’t provide more details. Bergen said the family has requested that the children's last names not be used. 

Police haven’t determined the time of death yet but Bergen said it was between Friday night and Sunday afternoon when police were called.
