Pedestrian fatally struck at Bear Lake

On Feb. 27 at approximately 10:30 p.p., Turnor Lake RCMP were called to the scene of a single vehicle collision in the community of Bear Creek on Highway 155. A 64-year-old male pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.

On Feb. 27 at approximately 10:30 p.p., Turnor Lake RCMP were called to the scene of a single vehicle collision in the community of Bear Creek on Highway 155.

A 64-year-old male pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene. The occupants of the vehicle were not injured as a result of the collision. Both lanes of the Highway 155 were blocked for several hours. Both driving lanes are now open.

Turnor Lake RCMP, with the assistance of the Provincial Coroner’s Office and the Saskatoon Forensic Reconstruction unit, are investigating the cause of the collision.
