Public’s help in locating Shaylene Roy sought

Shaylene has previously lived in the North Battleford and Saskatoon areas and it is possible she may be with previous associates, but she has not contacted any of her family or friends that reported her missing to the police, which, police say, is out of character for Shaylene.

Shaylene disappeared from the Flying Dust First Nation powwow at 1 a.m. Sept. 2. Police say that at the time she was reported missing there were searches done at the powwow grounds by event security and RCMP with negative results.

Investigators with the Meadow Lake RCMP report that to date all leads have been investigated in the Meadow Lake area and investigators say they do not believe she is in  Meadow Lake or the surrounding communities.

Police say Shaylene has no access to funds and has not been active on social media.

Police say they are hoping the public or people that Shaylene recently has come in contact with will come forward with any information that may lead to locating Shaylene and ensuring she is safe.
