Battlefords RCMP are investigating two armed robberies reported this week that appear to be related. The first was reported shortly after midnight on Tuesday, Feb. 5.

The first was reported shortly after midnight on Tuesday, Feb. 5. RCMP say three suspects entered a business on the 1700 block of 100th Street in North Battleford. One male was in possession of what appeared to be a pistol.

The suspects fled with a small amount of merchandise.

No one was injured during the incident.

The second was reported to police shortly after 9 p.m. on Tuesday.

Two suspects entered a business on the 300 block of 22nd Street West in Battleford.

One suspect produced a handgun and the other a knife.

The suspects fled with a small amount of cash and merchandise.

No one was injured in the incident.

The circumstances of this incident suggest that it is related to the robbery in North Battleford the night before, say RCMP.
