Saskatoon – Three adults charged with second-degree murder

Saskatoon Police Major Crimes have arrested and charged three adults in relation to Saskatoon's most recent homicide. A 25-year-old male, an 18-year-old male and a 20-year-old female have all been charged with with second-degree murder.

Saskatoon Police Major Crimes have arrested and charged three adults in relation to Saskatoon's most recent homicide.  A 25-year-old male, an 18-year-old male and a 20-year-old female have all been charged with with second-degree murder. 

At just after midnight on, July 11, Police Communications began receiving 911 calls regarding a shooting in the 100 block of Avenue K south.  Through the immediate and coordinated response from our Communication Dispatch, Patrol officers, K9, Air Support and Tactical Support Units, officers were not only able to mitigate this high risk situation but also track and apprehend all those involved and recover significant evidence.

Investigators believe that this incident was not random.  All three accused have seen a Justice of the Peace and will make their first court appearances Monday morning.  The investigation continues.
