Maidstone RCMP are looking for the driver of a black Ford F350 dually truck after a semi was sideswiped on Highway 16 at Lashburn Monday at approximately 9 p.m.

The semi was eastbound when it was hit by the pickup truck, police say. The truck is reported to have had Alberta plates and a metal slip tank in the back.

The truck entered the highway from Lashburn and turned east, hitting the semi, according to RCMP.

Police say the driver of the Ford truck stopped and exited his truck. He is described as a white male, approximately 25 years old, brown hair, 6' tall, slim build, wearing a dark coloured bunny hug and jeans. The driver got back into his truck and fled the scene eastbound at a high rate of speed, according to police.

The Maidstone RCMP are looking for the public's help in identifying the driver and they say the Ford pickup would have extensive damage to the passenger side.

Anyone with information about this incident or who can potentially identify the driver of the Ford truck is asked to contact Maidstone RCMP at 306-893-4800 or Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
