St.Walburg RCMP notifed motorists at 8:40 p.m. Saturday evening that Highway 26, 18 km north of St.Walburg, would be closed for several hours.
The RCMP and emergency services were at the scene of a two-vehicle injury collision.
Motorists may wish to use Highway 4 or 21 to route around Highway 26 while the closure is in effect.
Road conditions were described as poor due to snow on the roads and RCMP advised the public to refer to the highway hotline for additional information.
